Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fusic ("the Bot", "we", "us") collects, uses, and stores information when you or your Discord server ("Server", "Guild") use our services. By inviting Fusic to your server or interacting with it, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Server Configuration Data

When a server administrator sets up Fusic's features, we store configuration settings tied to that server, including but not limited to:

  • Prefix, embed color, and language preferences
  • Autorole, custom role, and reaction role settings
  • Welcome/goodbye message templates and channel IDs
  • Automod rules, filtered words, and media-only channel lists
  • Auto-responder triggers and replies
  • Sticky message content and channel IDs
  • Activity-role (presence-based) mappings
  • Ticket system, verification, giveaway, and vanity URL configurations
  • Anti-nuke / anti-nuke whitelist and staff role settings
  • Logging channel IDs for moderation, join/leave, voice, and message events

1.2 User Data

We may store limited, non-sensitive data tied to a Discord User ID, such as:

  • AFK status and custom AFK messages
  • Warnings, mutes, and other moderation actions taken against a user within a server
  • Invite tracking and reward progress
  • Profile customization data (badges, name styles) you set through bot commands
  • Premium/subscription status linked to your user or server ID

1.3 Message Content

Fusic processes message content in real time to power features like auto-moderation, auto-responders, keyword auto-reactions, sticky messages, and media-only enforcement. Message content is processed transiently and is not permanently stored in our database. The only message-derived data we retain is what a server admin explicitly configures (e.g. an auto-responder trigger phrase), never the ordinary chat messages of your members.

1.4 Automatically Collected Data

We may log technical data such as command usage, error logs, and timestamps for the purpose of debugging, security (anti-nuke detection), and improving the Bot.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected data solely to:

  • Operate and provide the features you or your server administrators configure
  • Enforce moderation and security actions (automod, anti-nuke)
  • Maintain accurate logs for server administrators (join/leave, voice, message edit/delete logs)
  • Diagnose bugs and errors via our internal error logging
  • Provide premium features to eligible users/servers

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Data is stored in a secured database (SQLite/MySQL depending on deployment) accessible only to the Bot's core infrastructure and authorized developers.
  • We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect stored data from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.
  • No storage system is 100% secure; while we take precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Retention

  • Server configuration data is retained for as long as Fusic remains in your server.
  • If Fusic is removed from a server, associated configuration data may be automatically deleted after a reasonable retention period, or upon request (see Section 6).
  • Moderation logs may be retained longer for security and accountability purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

Fusic may integrate with third-party services to provide certain features, including:

  • Discord API — for core bot functionality
  • Lavalink — for music playback (Apple Music Bot / music features)
  • Spotify API — for music metadata where applicable

These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the data they process.

6. Your Rights

Server administrators and users may:

  • Request removal of their server's stored configuration data by contacting us (see Section 8)
  • Request deletion of personal data tied to their Discord User ID
  • Opt out of specific tracked features (e.g. activity roles, invite tracking) by disabling them via bot commands

To exercise these rights, contact us through our support server.

7. Children's Privacy

Fusic is not directed at individuals under the age required by Discord's Terms of Service (13 years, or higher where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from users who do not meet Discord's minimum age requirement.

8. Contact Us

If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, please reach out via our support server:

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Fusic after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We recommend checking this page periodically.

By using Fusic, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy.
